Responsibilities and Qualifications

This job contributes to REI’s success by supporting Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management for off-price events and offers. Scope of impact can include major off-price events, member offers, clearances, outlet, off-price contingency and additional off-price events or offers as needed. This role is accountable for leading annual strategy and campaign management of off-price events and offers with a focus on Outlet. Leading the execution across all key marketing touchpoints end to end, which can include Marketing channels, Digital Retail, Retail and employees. Supports the development of off-price brand-right communication strategies to drive traffic, demand and engage new and returning customers with compelling off-price experiences. Represents marketing and business strategies to align cross divisional partners to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience.

  • Develops Marketing Strategy, Marketing Brief and Go To Market support for major off-price events and Outlet.
  • Works jointly with Marketing Planning, Customer Insights and Marketing Manager, Product Marketing to develop measurable Campaign KPI’s and supports recapping as needed
  • Ensures that the customer experience and supporting content, assets, and programs deliver on marketing strategy and priorities.
  • Supervises campaign development with Marketing and cross-divisional partners, including Marketing Program Managers, Channel Managers, Visual Merchandising, Digital Retail and Creative partners.
  • Drives meetings and documentation through the campaign development cycle to keep stakeholders and leadership informed of progress, changes and updates to the content and assets in development.
  • Manages the process to amend or update customer experience when key deliverables or direction changes.
  • Assures that REI branding, product and experiential elements are represented in the campaign elements developed and executed, per direction in the campaign strategy.
  • Builds contingency plans and helps overall contingency program to address emerging cultural, business, and customer risks.
  • Off-price authority for the co-op, representing program’s vision, strategies, and projects
  • Helps manager with evolution of off-price work to align with broader co-op business and marketing strategies.
  • Coaches other members of the team on deliverables as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years with marketing experience; campaign or channel program management preferred
  • Outlet marketing campaign strategy
  • BA in Business, Marketing, Communications preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and aptitude in leading and developing integrated marketing plans, with a preferred focus on digital media for retail.
  • Proven track record developing integrated marketing plans that meet or exceed business goals.
  • Experience and success in managing partners and relationships in developing marketing programs.

Pay Range

$83,700.00 - $134,000.00 per year
